Meet Cassie!

I'm Ms. Cassie, also known as Ms. Haircut by my kiddos! I've been cutting hair for over five years. As a child, I earned money by babysitting, which taught me the basics of childcare. While attending San Antonio College, I continued babysitting but eventually realized that college wasn’t my destined path. That was when I discovered my passion for cosmetology at Paul Mitchell the School for Cosmetology & Beauty.

Once I completed my training at Paul Mitchell, my first professional job was at Lackland Air Force Base. This position allowed me to cut hair with a diverse clientele from the service members on base, to their families who stayed with them. During this time, I met a young boy, the son of a retired military service member, who had autism and found haircuts particularly challenging. I managed to connect with him and successfully gave him a simple scissor cut.

After my time at Lackland, I began working at a kids' salon, where I encountered many wonderful families, including children with sensory sensitivities. Diagnosed with ADHD myself, my personal experiences help me empathize and mitigate the sensory challenges associated with haircuts. I firmly believe in providing a personalized experience for each individual, recognizing their unique needs and preferences.
