  • We totally get it! You might be wondering what an at-home salon experience is like. Expect a very salon-like experience, complete with a salon chair and a barber station like you would normally see, but in a private setting. This private setting helps kiddos get used to haircuts because we're in our own energy, without all the noise and chaos that often come with larger kids' places.

    We have adequate seating for parents with multiple kids, a TV with access to all your little one's favorite shows, as well as toys and games to keep them entertained. We also offer complimentary waters, drinks, and snacks to ensure everyone is comfortable and happy.

  • Feel free to park in our driveway or in front of our house—whichever makes you feel most comfortable. Look for the house marked 227 with a deep red maroon front door.

  • Every child's needs are unique. For those who experience distress during haircuts, we offer a 60-minute extended appointment to allow for periodic breaks. Upon request, we can use a towel or blow dryer to help clean hair during the cut. Clippers can also be introduced slowly to help desensitize and build trust, ensuring a comfortable experience for your child.

  • That's perfectly okay! Children can be quite wiggly, and we are experienced in working with them to make the haircut experience as smooth as possible.

  • No, we don't have any pets or animals in our home.

  • MsHaircut operates by appointment only, as our salon is based in my home.

  • We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Cash App through the Square app for your convenience. Please note that we are currently not accepting cash.

  • Any age! We've even had babies as young as 6 weeks come in for a haircut.

  • We operate from 10 AM to 8 PM, with the last appointment scheduled at 7:15 PM.

  • - Kids' haircuts: 30-minute standard and 60-minute extended

    - Adult haircuts

    - Styling and updos

  • No deposit is required for booking, and there are no penalties for cancellations or rescheduling if you notify us in advance. Failure to notify us of cancellations or rescheduling will result in your appointment being marked as a no-call, no-show. We allow up to 2 no-call, no-show instances before imposing a 50% service fee penalty.

  • Please let us know immediately if you are not satisfied with your service. Your feedback is important to us, and we will do our best to rectify any issues.

  • We strive to use brands such as Fairytale, Original Sprouts, and Johnny B, which align with our commitment to quality and safety.

  • If your child has allergies or specific product preferences, please feel free to bring your own hair products, and let us know in advance.

  • Depending on the complexity of the cut and the temperament of the child, appointments typically take between 20 to 30 minutes.

  • We sanitize all equipment and surfaces with EPA-approved products and wear masks during appointments.
